Change & Courage.

Hello and welcome to my first blog! I thought for the first one we would touch base and catch you guys up with life.

It has been so filled with love and adventure that I thought why not write about it and share with a community that supports me. If I can support you by simply sharing all the ups and downs and that we are all human. This blog is for you.

This past August I got married to the love of my life at Saint Johns Resort. Our day was perfect and filled with friends and family. My husband and I had a smaller scale wedding, which we preferred. As a bride there is so much to consider.. and it’s so normal to feel anxious if you are making the right decision(s). What helped me get thru these feelings is knowing that no matter what the day had brought us, I would still be just as happy for the sake of marrying Eric and the memories that we would make. If you detach yourself from expectations, you will never be disappointed. To all my lovely brides out there, you are not alone, you are doing enough, this is your day and nobody else’s.

Lately, I have had another change in my life and that is where I am currently living. I have moved to the East side of the Michigan in a small quant city called Northville. It honestly feels like a hallmark movie here which is what made Eric and I fall in love with it. We are about 30 minutes to Detroit which is another bonus, however… I was nervous to move. Two reasons: 1. Feeling like I’m starting fresh with my business (clients + community) and 2. because deep down I knew I outgrew Kalamazoo, but was scared for that next leap in adulthood. I still feel so young and yet so old at times! Being in your 20’s is hard… we could be the same age and be at such different points in our lives. Keeping everything with an open mind and perspective has allowed me to not have a timeline for myself. I know it’s so easy to feel like we should have all the right answers/ career/ promotion/ social life/ love life/ but time will truly tell. It always does. Even when you wish luck itself would hurry up.

I am so glad I was able to share with you guys! Journaling has always been an escape for me. So thank you for letting me share my thoughts, life update, and most importantly being here for you guys. I’ll talk with you soon!
